07/12/12 In anticipation of the rollout of the all-new 2013 Ford Escape Oliver Ford Lincoln in Plymouth and Plymouth Travel Soccer are excited to bring you the Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge.
This Saturday, July 14th from 10am-2pm, Oliver Ford has teamed up with iSoccer, the national premier online skills assessment tool, to develop these fun and exciting challenges to allow youth ages 8-13 to show off, compete and improve their skills and get them on track to becoming a better soccer athlete and getting to experience this all at the Plymouth Soccer Plex located at the corner of Plymouth High School and Baker Street. The program is asked to have at least 50 participates and according to Duane Culp, President of the Travel League he says that should be a pretty easy number due to the league having more than 600 kids involved in the rec league and 180 kids in the travel portion of the Soccer League.
Registered participants will receive a complimentary two-month premium membership to iSoccer and the first 50 participants on-site will receive a Ford Escape Soccer Skills Challenge T-Shirt. Six winners, one from each age/gender group division will be invited to attend the regional finals in fall of 2012.
The participation to the skills challenge will be free with only taking a few minutes to sign up. With a parent at the event they will be entered to win a two year lease on a 2013 Ford Escape.
