09/17/12 Thursday afternoon was the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony signaled the opening of a new tanning salon in Plymouth.
Scott Strefling, owner of Malibu Tanning opened his ninth salon in the Kroger Shopping Plaza. The other salons are in Elkhart, Granger, South Bend, and Osceola. Strefling said they had wanted to expand and felt like Plymouth was the idea community and the space in the plaza was the perfect location.
The new salon features 18 tanning beds with five different levels and lots of options for customers. The best option is that through September 27th customers can tan for free. Strefling said, “There are no strings attached. You can come in every day and tan for free.” He continued, “We are going to let the brand and the salon speak for itself.”
The salon is open seven days a week with four employees. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 to 8 and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
