03/01/12 Operation Quiet Comfort is hosting a fundraising dinner and auction to celebrate and support our troops on Thursday, April 19th at Memories Reception Hall located at 401 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth. Operation Quiet comfort was established in July 2004 for the purpose of honoring and comforting members of the US Armed Forces who are injured while serving in in harm’s way, and to provide support to the medical staff who care for them. Operation quiet comfort is a nonprofit organization staffed by volunteers across the United States, and is funded solely through donations.

The program for the evening will include opportunities to learn more about Operation Quiet Comfort and hear from some troops who will provide first-hand knowledge of the needs and appreciation for what Operation Quiet Comfort does. There will also be a silent auction with some outstanding items to bid on along with a live auction of items to cap off the evening.

Individual tickets are $15.00 per person and reserved seating tables for eight are $125.00. (Reservations for large tables are due by April 12th) The dinner will include pulled pork, side dishes and desserts. Tickets are available at Ameriprise Financial, Ancilla Athletic Department, Coldwell Banker Hometown Reality and Young’s TV and appliances.
