11/09/12 Tuesday morning dawned crisp and bright, a perfect day for the 2012 Senior Expo held at LifePlex Center in Plymouth. The Senior Expo is hosted by Marshall County Council on Aging. Corporate sponsors include Catherine Kasper Life Center, Miller’s Merry Manor, the Center for Hospice, TCU Insurance Agency, Pilgrim Manor, and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Many hundreds of seniors attended the expo where they received free refreshments and entertainment, plus free health screenings, flu shots, and hundreds of door prizes. They could also dispose of expired medications. Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living were able to ride to and from the expo at different times during the day as Activity Director Cindy Flagg ran the facility bus as a shuttle throughout the day.
