01/13/12 Connie Holzwart, Festival Coordinator for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, has submitted her resignation, effective January 27, 2012. Connie has held the position for nearly six years and has said she feels “It is time to pursue other interests.”
Connie lists just a few of her highlights as creation of “Hank” mascot costume, “Hank’s House”, Recycling program, “Blueberry Buddies” children’s area, Community service projects, and Volunteer T-shirts, among many others.
Karen Oneal, President of the Board of Directors, stated on behalf of the board, “The Board of Directors will feel the loss of a good employee, but wish Connie well in her future endeavors.”
