05/24/12 Starke County Police say 30 year old Joshua Hunnicutt from Winamac escaped from Starke County Jail around 4 p.m. Wednesday. Hunnicutt apparently went over a fence at the jail and headed south down the alley.
Police believe his girlfriend, 25 year old Rachel Berdine was waiting for him nearby in a 1995 purple Geo Tracker. The vehicle registration is 513CEH
He was last seen wearing sweatpants and no shoes. He has a fresh cut on his right shoulder. He is 6 foot tall, weighs 170 pounds, has brown hair, brown eyes and several tattoos.
Hunnicutt was arrested for an active warrant for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance.
