09/26/12  On Sunday, September 23rd at 1:49 PM Indiana State Trooper Jason Faulstich observed a white, Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck on US 6 near Miami Trail, in front of the Indiana State Police Post.

The Trooper decided to check on the vehicle and during his investigation discovered that the driver of the truck, 32 year old Ashley D. Amor of Claypool was extremely intoxicated.

By looking at the vehicle it appeared to the officer that the truck had driven through a corn field.  Mr. Amor told Trooper Faulstich that he thought he was in Nappanee.

As a result of a search of the vehicle both marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found.

Mr. Amor refused all tests and was taken into custody on possession of marijuana charges and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail with a $1,505 bond and was later released on Tuesday, September 25th at 2:39 AM with no judicial review.
