11/13/12 On Sunday, November 11th at 12:13 PM Trooper Jason Faulstich with the Indiana State Police was out patrolling on Michigan Road when he observed two vehicles all over the roadway.   Both vehicles were observed crossing into the other lanes of traffic into oncoming traffic.  Trooper Faulstich was able to get both vehicles stopped and it was found that both drivers were intoxicated.  The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived to assist where both drivers, 26 year old Garrett H. Martin of Wakarusa and 26 year old Michael S. Ramirez of Wakarusa submitted to a chemical tests.   Both tested .13% and were charged with Operating under the influence. After further investigation it was discovered that a passenger in Ramirez’s vehicle, 28 year old Troy Cox of Nappanee was found to be in possession of Marijuana and paraphernalia. All three subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail and each held on $1,505 bonds.
