12/10/12 On 12.12.12 Wednesday December 12, Marshall County Community Foundation is hosting their Matched Giving Event. Make a donation to a permanent fund or start a new fund, and the Foundation will give 12% in matching funds. The community is invited to please join them from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
Starting with the soup cook off from 12 to 2 visitors can vote for their favorite soup donated by local restaurants. From 2 till 4 appetizers are available and from 4 until 6 the will have wine and cheese. 12.12.12 continues until midnight on December 12th and from 6-8p.m. participants can taste many donated desserts and then from 8-10p.m. donated pizzas.
Throughout the day people are encouraged to stop by and talk to non-profit organizations that benefit Marshall County. On 12.12.12 donors may bring their contributions to the Marshall County Community Foundation at 2701 North Michigan Street in the KeyBank building.
