01/11/12 The Marshall County Church Orchestra will resume regular rehearsal times beginning Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  The group is under the direction of leader Don Harness of Plymouth.  They rehears at the R.E.M.C. building located at 11299 12th Road south of Plymouth on Highway 31.

The M.C.C.O. is an all volunteer organization whose purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as the joy of music by sharing their instrumental talents.  The orchestra is inter-denominational as well as multi-generational.  The M.C.C.O. plays a summer “Concert In The Park” series at Marshall County Town parks.  They also play at churches, nursing facilities, Garden Courts, assisted living facilities and private parties.   They are always accepting new members and what better time to join the group than at the beginning of a brand new rehearsal year.  All instruments and skill levels are welcomed; however, there is a particular need for low brass and bass sounds.  Some “loaner” instruments are available for those who may be interested but do not want to immediately invest in an instrument.  For more information about joining the group or to book the orchestra, call Don Harness at 574-936-7357.
