08/23/12  On Friday, August 17th around 6:55pm, Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Lincoln Street after a call was received about a possible domestic disturbance of a male and female subject that were in a parked van.  Hite observed the van leaving the area turning onto Oak Hill Avenue from Rose Street where the officer pulled the vehicle over to make sure everyone in the vehicle was all-right.

The male and female subjects both stated that everything was ok when they were sitting on Lincoln Street attempting to fill out paperwork for a bill of sale.  Officer Hite then asked both subjects for identification, and it was discovered that the driver, Mark L. Griffin 51, of Plymouth had an active warrant through Marshall County for a probation violation.  When Officer Hite patted Griffin down she located a white powdery substance.  It was also discovered when the female subject took off her sunglasses she had a black eye.

Griffin was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for a probation violation and held with no bond.  He also had a charge for possession of methamphetamines with a cash bond of $3,000.00.  Griffin is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on September 18th at 8:30am.
