03/07/12 Mayor Mark Senter is announcing a recruiting drive for the Mayor’s Youth Council.  The council is described as a liaison between the students of the Plymouth Community School Corporation and the city administration.  The Council creates its own projects that relate to Youth Council purposes and objectives.

The Youth Council is currently preparing a Public Service Announcement in reference to the city recycling program.  This will be aired on WTCA after a recording is made next Monday March 12th.  They are also working on a Sister City program with another Indiana city.

The Youth Council meets on the second Monday of each month at 3:30 PM.  Meetings are held at the Webster Center, 110 Webster Ave.  It is open to any Plymouth Community School Corporation student, Grace Baptist student or St. Michael student between grades 5 and 12.

To obtain an application you can go to the City of Plymouth’s website www.plymouthin.com  and click on the Mayor’s Page.  You will find the link at the middle of the page.
