03/30/12 In a partnership with Purdue University Manufacturing Extension, Plymouth Community Schools and Infuse, the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation is presenting a Root Cause Analysis Workshop!
Root cause analysis is an essential problem-solving method used to determine the fundamental, underlying reason (or root cause) for a problem. In this workshop, participants will learn to identify the cause of a problem, find a solution, and prevent reoccurrence – saving your organization time, money, and resources.
Although RCA is most frequently associated with quality-related problems, progressive organizations use it for the investigation and resolution of practically all mechanical failures and human errors. Today, Root Cause Analysis is used for identifying “root causes” and designing preventative strategies for problems ranging from quality issues to workplace injuries or death.
Objectives of the training will include: Enhance problem-solving effectiveness by providing a method for more deeply analyzing problem situations and expanding the range of tools available for analysis of problem situations.
The workshop is designed for quality, safety, risk, and reliability managers, process engineers, technicians, operations supervisors and personnel, process owners, and anyone who wants to improve their ability to solve recurring problems.
The work session is especially applicable to personnel from ISO 9001, ISO 13485, TS 16949 and AS9100 registered companies.
The Root cause Analysis Workshop will be hosted in the Conference Room of the Plymouth School Administration Building on Monday, April 9, from 8:00am to 4:00pm
