03/27/12 Fourth grade Menominee Elementary Teacher, Carla Manchak is co-leader of the Student Council organization.
The Student Council’s Acts of Service Committee headed up a campaign for Operation: Quiet Comfort. This is a charitable organization that gives “go bags” full of toiletry items, goodies, puzzle books, socks, etc. to injured military members.
Students at Menominee Elementary gathered an abundance of items that were presented to Mrs. Jan Houin from Operation: Quite Comfort during an all-school assembly last Friday, March 23rd.
