11/21/12 Approximately 150 residents and family members enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Sunday, November 18th.  It has become a tradition at the senior living facility for residents to invite their family members to a Thanksgiving buffet the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day.  Family members are required to make reservations in one of two different time slots available.

The dietary department provided a delicious home-cooked meal consisting of turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, corn, cranberry salad, tossed salad, homemade wheat bread, pumpkin pie and beverages including wine.  After going through the buffet line the families were are seated by hostess, Anna Corbett.  Cindy Flagg, Activity Director acted as photographer and took group pictures for those who desired a family photo.  Having the Family Thanksgiving Buffet on Sunday allows residents the freedom to travel with their families on Thanksgiving Day.

There are many fun events coming up in the month of December at Miller’s.  To be added to the Miller’s mailing list please call. 574-936-9801
