11/16/12 Residents of Miller’s Senior Living Community attended the annual Argos First United Methodist Church Turkey Supper Saturday evening, November 3. This is an outing that residents look forward to every year. Members of the church prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal including turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, squash and homemade desserts. The event is very well organized and the meal is delicious. Each year the residents push themselves away from the table saying they are stuffed and they can’t wait to come back the following year. Not only do they enjoy the meal but it is a great time of fellowship as they enjoy conversing with friends they haven’t seen since the previous year.
