10/19/12 Mary Wraight of handcreatedcards@yahoo.com led a crafting class at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Wednesday afternoon October 10th.  Thirteen residents and two guests chose their favorite Halloween colors, paper, stickers, jewels and other bedazzlements to design a Halloween pop-up card.

There was much chatter and laughter as the group glued spiders, ghosts, pumpkins and cats to their cards.  Each card front conveyed the message “Happy Halloween” while an area on the inside was left blank for a personalized message.  Wraight will be back on Tuesday, November 20th at 2:30 p.m. to lead a Thanksgiving project.  The class is open to the public and there is a $6.00 fee.  To reserve your spot call 574-936-9801 and ask for Cindy Flagg.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
