10/17/12 Miller’s Senior Living Community staff is observing National Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October.  Each Friday for a one dollar donation, staff members may wear jeans and a pink top.  All money collected during the month will be donated to Plymouth’s “Ounce of Prevention”.

A not-for-profit organization, “Ounce of Prevention” was created to increase awareness of breast cancer and to raise funds to offer support to those fighting the disease in Marshall County, Indiana.  The goal of “Ounce of Prevention” is to raise money locally to be invested locally to help people one might pass on the street or at the grocery store.  This assistance is not to be restricted by age, economic or belief status as some support systems are, but instead, be available to all in need.  The Miller’s staff is proud to help their community in this endeavor.  For more information about “ounce of Prevention” go to www.plymouthounceofprevention.org.
