09/05/12 A special Summer Bible Study has come to an end at Miller’s Senior Living Community. Pastor Ann Marie Kneebone of the Culver and Plymouth United Church of Christ willing led the Bible study during the summer months.
While Pastor Ann Marie led the group through the book of Mark, those attending spent their time listening, discussing the scripture and making baby blankets for the nursery at SJRMC. On Tuesday, Sept 28 which was the last day of their study several from the group took a trip to the OB ward at the hospital to drop off the blankets. The residents who took part in the Bible study agree they enjoyed the study and they felt useful at the same time.
Pastor Ann Marie enjoyed the experience, too and will begin a new study on the second Tuesday of each month beginning in October. For more information about “Once a Month with Pastor Ann Marie” call Miller’s at 936-9801 and ask for Cindy Flagg.
