That woman was lodged at the jail because she had no place else to go. If you actually read the article it says "she was released with no judicial review." AKA they gave her a place to stay safely without pursuing criminal charges. They did this woman a great service by arresting a man that beat her. All that aside, this man is a DRUG DEALER. There was no entrapment, if that moron was stupid enough to pull up to the SHERIFF'S DEPT with 43 grams of cocaine then he deserves to be arrested for a long list of reasons. I personally applaud the officers of the Sheriff's Dept for getting this felon off the street and also for doing your jobs in helping to protect a woman that has been physically abused. I really am ashamed of the Marshall County Police Department. Why don't you do something more valuable with you time. A woman gets beat and left on the side of the road, walks to the nearest gas station to call the police. The police get there and arrest her for public intoxication. They then wait for her husband to come pick her up from the jail and arrest him pulling in to the parking lot. As police your job and everything you stand behind is "to protect and to serve" You obviously failed that lady miserably here and not to mention the way you arrested her husband is entrapment no matter what charges you put behind it.
