06/20/12 Eighteen lovely, young ladies from the Marshall County area will vie for the title of Miss Blueberry on Saturday, June 30 in Argos.  The girls are now spending their time practicing for the pageant and participating in community service projects.

A group of the contestants recently visited Miller’s Senior Living Community where they did manicures, pedicures and played games with the residents.  The girls hit it off with the residents chattering away about their lives and the upcoming pageant; sharing family photos on their I-phones and serving strawberry smoothies and chips and salsa.

The contestants were accompanied by their pageant moms and organizers:  Stephanie Yates, Karen O’Neal, Anna Corbett, Cindy Chaney, Kelly Downs, and Shelly Ortiz.  Blueberry Pageant board member and organizer Don Morrison was also in attendance.
