12/31/12 Sara Hill, Executive Director of the Neighborhood Center sends a thank-you to the community.  The following is her letter:

As we turn the corner toward a New Year, The Marshall County Neighborhood Center is honored to express our appreciation of this community and your commitment to holiday giving.

  With the support of LOCAL schools, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and individuals, our Community Christmas Coalition served 365 families! The holiday help came in the form of family sponsorships, food drives, cash donations, volunteerism, hat & mitten collections, and angel trees.

  During the Thanksgiving holiday, we fed an additional 187 households with complete meals and much needed groceries. This time of year helps us reach out and have a meaningful impact upon our neighbors, who continue to struggle making ends meet.
