11/26/12 Even with temperatures in the low 30’s, Michigan Street was lined with kids anxious to see Santa Claus as he came to town on the Plymouth Fire Department engine.

Kids young and old enjoyed Christmas carols being sung by several groups along the street as they waited for the Big Guy!

The first ever Parade of Lights kicked off at 6:30 pm and traveled down Michigan Street.  Even Blueberry Hank was dressed for the occasion.  All of the floats were decked out with beautiful lights and they lit up the street as they led the way for Santa.

After the parade and the lighting of the City Christmas tree by Mayor Senter, Santa made his way to the Marshall County Historical Museum to meet with all of the kids who wanted to fill him in on their Christmas Wish Lists.  After visiting Santa, kids and adults were able to visit the Train Room at the Museum.

It was a wonderful beginning to the Holiday Season!
