New U.S. 31 Bridge Construction to Close Roosevelt Road

   05/07/12  The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of Roosevelt Road, between U.S. 31 and Locust Road, on the south side of South Bend, beginning Monday, May 7^th. Crews will be working on the new bridge construction for the new U.S. 31. Roosevelt Road is expected to reopen along this stretch by July.

A detour will take westbound Roosevelt traffic, south on U.S. 31, west on Madison Road, north on Locust Road, and back to Roosevelt Road.
