10/12/12 The Niles Haunted House Scream Park, one of Michiana’s most popular autumn attractions, is adding some special entertainment to its already packed lineup on its 44 acre site on Mayflower Road between Niles & Buchanan.
On Friday, October 12, visitors to the Park can watch “Gilbert and Stagg, Impressionists,” guest performers from Wicked Jester Entertainment, a premium entertainment company. They will be performing on the midway. Visitors also can meet with “Captain Jack Sparrow” and several of the Monsters of the Midway during open hours (7-11 pm). From 8 to 9 pm, patrons can have a souvenir picture autographed by all their favorite monsters.
On Saturday, October 13, Gilbert and Stagg are joined by Grimm the Stilt Walker and Josh the Juggler. Also on Saturday, the Park will receive a visit from the “Michigan Ghostbusters” and welcome Kent Arnsbarger, Steel Drum Player.
Appearing both Friday and Saturday nights plus Sunday is Zendor with his stage show “TALENT SEARCH! Will You be the One?”
The permanent attractions also will be open 7-11 Friday and Saturday, 7-10 Sunday, and include three interior haunted houses, the Field of Screams and the Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride.
The Scream Park is recognized nationally in the haunted attraction industry. In 2009, it was one of the featured haunts in a movie entitled “Halloween — The Happy Haunting of America Part II.” Also, the Scream Park was the featured haunt in the February, 2007 issue of “Haunted Attraction Magazine” — a national publication.
