12/06/12 Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin recently released the November Activity Report.

The top ten offenses for inmates being booked into the Marshall County Jail last month include 10th Operator Never Licensed, 9th Possession of a Controlled Substance, 8th Illegal Consumption of Alcohol, 7th Probation Violations, 6th Cocaine or Meth, 5th Driving While Suspended, 4th Theft, 3rd was Marijuana, the second most common reason for being booked into the County Jail in November is Failure to Appear and the number one reason – Operating While Intoxicated.

There were a total of 163 bookings into the jail in November, Argos Police did not arrest anyone last month while Bourbon Police arrested 3 males and 8 females.  Bremen Police arrested 10 males and 6 females with Culver Police only arresting 1 female and Indiana State Police Troopers booking 9 males and 2 females.  Plymouth Police officers booked 30 males and 11 females into to jail and County Police officers booked in 51 males and 16 females.

County police officers investigated 88 accidents in November.  8 involved personal injuries and 80 were property damage only.  95 case reports were taken and 30 citations were written last month.  The Sheriff’s Department received 645 Civil process papers and 592 were served.
