Oliver Ford Helping Hoosiers in Southern Indiana

March 20, 2012
By

03/21/12  Jennifer Houin from Oliver Ford is looking to help those so desperately in need.

We’ve all heard of the terrible destruction in southern Indiana from the March 2nd tornadoes.  So many want to help but don’t know how.  Oliver Ford in Plymouth is giving you a chance to help our Hoosiers neighbors down south and help yourself at the same time.

From now till the end of March, if you donate $20 worth of baby items at Oliver Ford they’ll give you an oil change for $15 plus tax, fill all your fluids and a free car wash.  You can use the discount coupon now or save it till you need that oil change, although you must use it by the end of April.

There are all kinds of baby items being accepted including diapers and wipes, formula and baby food, baby powder and  lotion, shampoo and body wash, blankets and baby clothing.  Drop off your donation at Oliver Ford on East Jefferson Street during normal business hours Monday through Saturday and help the Hoosier families who are trying to make sense of nature’s fury.

The emergency service doesn’t want people bringing down items as it only causes more confusion, congestion, and adds more labor to the rescue mission’s labor. Just as in Joplin, please, donate money – not goods.
