12/12/12 Operation Quiet Comfort shipped 40 boxes containing 800 Christmas Stockings to our troops to make their Holidays far from home and families a little brighter and let them know that they are not forgotten.

OQC continues to pack and ship approximately 30 boxes a month of comfort items including food, hygiene supplies, clothing and quilts to our deployed military men and women.  Their next regular monthly work night will be Thursday December 13th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. here at the home of Jan and Ken Houin, 17671 13th Road in Plymouth.

Jan Houin is always shopping for a bargain and is asking those who want to help to assist her in a coupon and sale alert.  This past weekend there was a coupon for Dunkin Donut coffee in the paper.  CVS Pharmacy has Dominos Sugar in 4lb. plastic tubs for $2.99 and Martin’s Supermarket has Planter’s Peanut Butter for $1.99  Houin says, remember Wal-Mart will price match any of these sale items.  You can drop them off items and coupons at A.S.K. for Flowers or WTCA Radio Station in downtown Plymouth.
