11/07/12 On Tuesday, October 30th at approximately 11:35 PM Trooper Jason Faulstich with the Indiana State Police conducted a traffic stop on a red, Toyota truck for driving left of center on Lincoln Highway near Hawthorn Road. During the investigation it was found that the female passenger, 19 year old Angela M. Guerrido of Pierceton was wanted out of Kosciusko County on an assault charge. She was taken into custody.
Marshall County K-9 Officer Brandon Copper assisted in the traffic stop with K-9 Arras who indicated on the vehicle. A search located marijuana and paraphernalia.
The driver, 22 year old Juan Luis Fuentes Rivera also of Pierceton was unable to produce a license or identification.
Several field and sobriety tests were failed by Mr. Rivera and he refused an official test. Rivera was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and held for an active warrant out of Kosciusko County. Both subjects was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on $1,500 bonds.
