06/20/12 On Sunday, June 17th about 8:10pm, Plymouth Police Units responded to the area of Madison Street and Broadway when a female pedestrian reported that she had been stuck by a vehicle and the vehicle left the scene. Driver Billy Bates 54, of Plymouth was located at 1230 West Harrison Street, where he was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Bates was charged with criminal recklessness/ act creates risk of bodily injury and failure to stop after an accident resulting in injury, and was given a $1500.00 cash bond. Bates is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on July 17th at 8:30am.

The female subject sustained injuries to her right side although she refused medical treatment.
