05/15/12 Members of the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission have a busy agenda for their meeting Tuesday evening.

In TIF # 1 there will be a discussion of an engineering change order for the Oak Drive Project that has been complete for a couple of months now.  They will also review bids for the Pine Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project.  It’s expected that Commission members will also approve the scope of project for the Pine Water project.

In TIF # 2 members will be updated on the South Gateway Project and learn of change order #1.  They will also get an update on the River park Square project along with consideration of a bond resolution to fund the first phase of the project.  Mike Reese of the Troyer Group will discuss the scope of services and the Redevelopment Commission will consider approval of an agreement between them and the city for professional engineering services on the project.

In TIF # 3 Redevelopment Commission members will discuss a proposed Shell Building Project with Garmong Construction Services out of Terra Haute.  PIDCO is proposing this spec building on a lot that they have been trying to sell for a number of years.  Talk around the town says the plan is to build a 40,000 square foot building that has an estimated cost of $3 million.  The proposal may include the city paying the interest payments of the building until the property can be sold.  The agenda does include a proposed letter of intent too.

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.  The meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
