Despite a big day at the dish from Connor Flynn, who finished 2-3, Plymouth lost 9-3 to Laporte at Laporte on Saturday.

Flynn reached base four times in the game for Plymouth. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Wally Dickman got the win for Laporte. He allowed two runs over five innings. The Laporte pitcher struck out six, walked five and surrendered six hits.

After pushing across one run in the top of the fourth, Plymouth faced just a 7-1 deficit. An RBI single by Flynn set off a Plymouth rally.

One Plymouth run crossed the plate in the top half of the fifth, making the score 7-2. An RBI single by Riley Cartwright sparked Plymouth‘s rally. Finally, Dickman induced an inning-ending fly out from Jacob Frantz.

One run in the top of the sixth helped Plymouth close its deficit to 8-3. A sacrifice fly by Jacob Seagraves triggered Plymouth‘s comeback. Cartwright flew out to end the Plymouth threat.
