11/05/12 On July 27th of this year Marshall County Sheriff Department Detective Duane Culp received a complaint of a child molestation on the west side of Marshall County. The victim was out of state when she reported the crime. When the victim returned to the county the Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation.
During the investigation it was discovered that 36 year old Christopher Detrick of Union Road in Plymouth had molested a juvenile, female on several occasions within a years period at his Union Road residence.
Mr. Detrick was arrested by the Plymouth Police Department on Monday, October 29th for theft with a bond of $1,505. While being incarcerated he was interviewed by Detective Culp and was additionally charged with two counts of Child Molestation a class A felony and a single count of child molestation a C felony with a $100,000 bond.
