Connor Flynn went 2-4 at the plate, but Plymouth fell 12-4 to Northridge at Northridge on Tuesday.

Flynn put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Plymouth. He tripled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Blake Fry recorded the win for Northridge. He allowed three runs over four innings. The Northridge pitcher struck out one, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Home runs for Northridge came when Shannon Baker homered in the first inning, J Carithers homered in the fifth inning, and Austin Summy homered in the sixth inning.

Northridge tacked on another five runs in the third. The inning got off to a hot start when Alan Grusy doubled, scoring Baker. That was followed up by an error that scored Carithers.

After pushing across three runs in the top of the fourth, Plymouth faced just a 7-3 deficit. A two-run double by Hayden Skirvin and a wild pitch sparked Plymouth‘s rally. But, Fry got Joe Knapp to to end the inning.

After pushing across one run in the top of the fifth, Plymouth faced just a 8-4 deficit. An RBI single by Chase Peters gave Plymouth life. Finally, Sam Troyer induced an inning-ending strike out from Riley Cartwright.
