03/14/12 The Plymouth Park Board unanimously approved the Plymouth Community School Corporation’s new three-year contract.  The contract is for nine years ending on June 30, 2012.  The annual payment will be $23,000 for the first three years, $24,000 for the next three years and $25,000 for the final three years.

Quotes were open for a new John Deere mower and deck.  Three companies bid with Gillisingers of Plymouth being the low bid at $17,100.  Park Superintendent Mike Hite noted that they replace one mower each year and it is in this year’s budget.

In other business the Park Board approved a rental agreement with Learning Tree Child Care for weekly rental of the Conservation Club House at $200 a week during the summer.  Marshall County EMA Director Clyde Avery was granted permission to use the field in front of the sledding hill on September 7th to host a public program for citizens to discuss disaster readiness.  Also approved was free use of the Hoosier Old Wheels Shelter for the Plymouth Public Library to conduct their annual Bubble Day event on July 11th and the annual agreement with American Legion Post 27 for baseball games at Nixon Field.
