08/30/12  On Monday, August 27th at approximately 6:00 pm, Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth Police Department received a called that a female had been detained by Loss Prevention for shoplifting at Wal-Mart. Upon arriving Officer Hite spoke with Allison M. Miller 27, of South Bend.   After an investigation Miller was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for theft, a Class D Felony and given a $1,500.00 cash bond. Miller is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on September 18th at 8:30am.

A bit later Monday evening at 7:39 Officer Jordan Rans was contacted in reference to a possibly intoxicated male subject walking in the street near Washington and Fifth Streets. The suspect, identified as Arthur Snay 65, of Plymouth was found to be extremely intoxicated.  He was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for public intoxication and given a $500.00 cash bond. Snay is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on September 18th at 8:30am.

On Tuesday, August 29th around 8:40pm, Corporal received a call In reference to a male and female subject that were fighting in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. It was also advised that the male subject was removing items out of his pants. Upon arrival Hite was advised that the female subject re-entered the store and returned the merchandise that was stolen.  Kayla Thompson 20, and Jeffery C. Gibson 22, of Hamlet were located in front of Payless Shoe Source in the Wal-Mart parking lot.  Both subjects were then taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where Thompson was booked in for theft and given a $3000.00 cash bond.  Gibson was booked in for theft and disorderly conduct and given a $3000.00 cash bond. Both Thompson and Gibson are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on October 2nd at 8:30am.

On Wednesday, August 29th at12:08am Officer Jordan Rans conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan Street just south of Skylane Drive. During the investigation it was found that the driver, Jennifer R. Abair 29, of Culver was driving while suspended. Abair was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked and given a $750.00 cash bond.  Abair is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on September 18th at 8:30am.
