05/03/12  Last Friday, April 27th around 9:00pm,Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Hogarth Street just east of Miner Street. It was found that driver, Javier E. Garcia-Ortiz 25, of Plymouth was driving while intoxicated.  Ortiz was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $1500.00 cash bond, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 15th at 8:30am.

Then later Friday evening at 11:20pm, K-9 Officer John Weir of the Plymouth Police Department received a tip on the MAD unit tip line on a location of Uriah J. Milton 34, of Plymouth who was wanted on a Marshall County Warrant for a civil contempt. Officer Weir with assistance of the Argos Police officer was able to detain Milton with no incident. Milton was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $20,000.00 cash bond.

On Saturday April 28th at 12:04am, Sergeant Joe Deisch with the Plymouth P. D. investigated a fight complaint in the 1300 block of Holloway Drive.  That complaint led to the arrest of Dustin T. Ford 20, of Tippecanoe for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol.  Ford was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $500.00 cash bond. Ford has a court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court II on May 29th at 8:30am. Ford was also accompanied by a 17 year old juvenile and a 16 year old juvenile.

On Saturday, April 28th at 12:05am, Plymouth Officer Jordan Rans conducted a traffic stop on Michigan Street just in front of Centennial Park. During the investigation it was learned that 27 year old Jason Decker of Plymouth was driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a $1,500.00 cash bond.  Decker is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 15th at 8:30am.

A short time later on Saturday April 28that 2:19am, Officer Rans arrested Jessica F. Doll 35, of Plymouth after receiving a call on a domestic disturbance at the Jackson Heights apartment. Officers located Doll outside of her apartment where she was taken into custody for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.  Her bond was set at $500.00 cash and she is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on May 22ndat 8:30am.

A bit later on Saturday morning around 3:50 am, Sergeant Joe Diesch made another arrest at the intersection of Michigan Road and 7B Road. It was found that Matthew L. Wise 25, of Mishawaka was driving while intoxicated. Wise was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $3,000.00 cash bond, which was paid on April 28th at 1:00pm. A scheduled court appearance for Wise will be on May 15th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court II.

On Monday, April 30th at 1:39pm, Officer Brian DeLee of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a theft. An investigation led to the arrest of Kara S. Spicer 22, of Kentucky. Spicer was transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in for theft, and given a $4,500.00 cash bond. Spicer is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on May 29th at 8:30am.

On Tuesday, May 1st Officer Steve DeLee of the Plymouth Police Department investigated a battery that occurred at the inte Bryan Naylor of Plymouth came to the Plymouth Police Station reporting that Kevin Wenzel 31, of Plymouth had battered him in his vehicle. Wenzel came into the Police Station for a statement and was then placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for battery with a $750.00 cash bond, which was paid on May 1st at 10:15am. Wenzel is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court II on May 15th at 8:30am.
