02/10/12 The Plymouth Public Library is offering a new service to their patrons.
Short Message Service (SMS) Alerts service gives you the option to receive text messages from Plymouth Public Library on your mobile device. After you opt into SMS Alerts, Plymouth Public Library will send you text messages to bring an event to your attention, such as an overdue item or a hold ready for pickup.
You can choose to opt out of the SMS Alerts service at any time. Although Plymouth Public Library does not charge for this service, standard message charges may apply.
All Plymouth Public Library Alert services are originated from short codes 82453 or 35143. You will never receive any content from Plymouth Public Library from any other source. To sign up for this service, login in to your account online here, click on the “update personal information” box. Under “Mobile Settings”, put in your mobile number and check the “opt in” box, scroll to the bottom and click on the “submit” button.
