07/09/12 The Plymouth School Board will hold both an executive session and a regular monthly meeting on July 10. Among other items, the board is expected to approve the hire of a new principal for Riverside Intermediate School. Former Principal Donna Burroughs has accepted a position as superintendent with the Triton Schools.
The Board members will be considering the retirement of Monty Peden, Plymouth High School, and effective July 5, 2012. Peden has expressed his decision to retire as the Academic Hall of Fame ECA and French Club Sponsor.
Agenda items listed on the agenda under business items are the following: Consideration of additional administrator contract; Consideration of approval of annual financial report for publication; Report on career pathways initiative; 2nd reading of acceptable use policy revision and consideration for permission to apply for grants.
The regular meeting is open to the public; however, comments are restricted to agenda items. The public meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Administration Board Room.
