American Legion Post 27 won their 3rd straight game last night thanks to a 5-3 win over Crown Point Post 20. Diamond Spyder’s Sean Knepper (Bremen), Tanner Andrews (Tippy Valley) and Trent Briles (Plymouth) each went 2 for 3. Andrews got a couple of RBI’s in the Bottom of the 1st inning which sparked a 5 run first inning effort for Plymouth.
Wally Dickman (Laporte) pitched 4 innings, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits. He struck out six Crown Point hitters, walking one.
Plymouth will travel to Terre Haute for a weekend tournament starting this Thursday. Our next WTCA broadcast will be June 21st against Logansport.
