08/14/12 On Sunday, August 5th around 10:45pm, Sheriff’s Officer Nicholas Laffoon investigated an accident on Upas Road in the S-curve of 11A Road. The drive,56 year old Randy G. Green of Plymouth stated that he was driving his 1991 Olds convertible traveling south on Upas Road north on 11A Road going through the S-Curve in the area when his attention was diverted from the roadway and he ran off the road in the west curve. The vehicle struck a fence and a guide wire for an electric pole. The electric pole was then pulled down on top of the vehicle. The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by REMC at the scene of the collision.
