01/03/12 Monday evening the Plymouth Common Council held their organizational meeting for 2012. The Council appointed Mike Delp to serve as President Pro-Tempore, filling in when the Mayor is not available. Their next order of business was to appoint a new member to the Redevelopment Commission, Mike Miley was unanimously approved and they also re-appointed Don Wendel.
Mayor Senter selected council members to serve on the Board of Public Works and Safety. Those members will be Duane Culp, Don Ecker, Wayne Smith, Shown Grobe and himself, Mayor Senter.
The Council then made their appointment to the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals. Keith Wickens was selected to replace Don Ecker on the BZA since he is now an elected official he needed to step down.
Councilman Mike Delp was appointed to be the Council’s representative on the Plan Commission and the Board of Public Works and Safety will appoint their representative at their next meeting.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. except for the Memorial Day holiday when they will meet on May 29th and Christmas Eve on December 24th when the meeting was moved to the 26th.
