12/19/12 Under the direction of music teacher Jaime Briles, Riverside Intermediate School’s 5th grade choir shared their gift of song with residents at Miller’s Senior Living Community during December.  The young people were preparing for their school Christmas Concert and they traveled to several different retirement communities to share their talent and to get in a little extra practice.  The students sang several traditional songs and also sang some newer songs that are included in the school’s Christmas play.  One of their favorite songs was “Super Santa.”  The children are very talented and added choreography to complement their singing.  They sang to the residents in the dining room during their evening meal.  Following their concert students took time to shakes hands and to wish the residents and staff a Merry Christmas.
