04/27/12 On Sunday, April 22nd at 7:15am, the Marshall County Police Department received a call reporting a person leaving the scene of an accident.

A vehicle had struck a utility pole on King Road near 12th Road. The vehicle, a silver Jeep Cherokee was left at the scene of the accident with no one in it.

Marshall County Police went to the residence of the registered owners in the 7,000 block of 14th Road although nobody answered the door.   About 10:45am on the same date the owner called the Marshall County Police Department wanting to know how to get his vehicle back that was towed.

Marshall County Police located 35 year old Roger McKinney Jr. of Argos at a friend’s house near the crash scene. McKinney was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged for leaving the scene of an accident. McKinney was given a $250.00 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on May 15that 8:30am.
