Rotary Quizbowl State Championship Tomorrow at Ancilla College

  03/02/12 Twenty-four schools will compete tomorrow, Saturday, March 3, at Ancilla College in the 2012 Rotary Quizbowl State Championships. Large, medium, and small school State Champions will be crowned, hopefully heralding an era of increased recognition and participation for small schools. Matches start at 9:00 AM, with the Finals scheduled for 3:00 PM

All teams will play seven to nine round robin games before the two top teams in each division face off in the Championship series. Top teams will receive cash prizes as well as reference materials from Encyclopaedia Britannica. The fifteen top individual all-stars will each receive a copy of the “2012 World Almanac and Book of Facts.”
