Second Friday Event Grows in Popularity

  10/17/12 A great time was had at the October Second Friday event in downtown Plymouth.

  Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, children and adults have the opportunity to learn the Michael Jackson dance to thriller thanks to the LifePlex Dance Academy.    Heartland Artists had decorated pumpkins for sale on the sidewalk and the Chamber offered pumpkin decorating for children.

  The downtown merchants had many specials throughout their stores along with refreshments.  More than 50 people enjoyed the history walk recognizing the architecture of the buildings and the history behind them.  The walk was sponsored by the Wythougan Valley Preservation Council.

Second Friday events continue with the next one being November 9^th.   Plans are for a chili cook-off.  In December they are working on sleigh rides and carolers.
