06/14/12 The Marshall County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the driver killed Wednesday morning onUS6 east of Dogwood. Marshall County Deputy Coroner Bridget Hite said 23 year old Taylor R. Dodds of South Bend was east bound on US 6 when he crossed the centerline and collided with a semi-trailer truck driven by 55 year old David Bryant of southern Indiana.
Dodds was killed instantly and the accident remains under investigation by the Coroner’s office and the Marshall County Police Department. Deputy Coroner Hite will be issuing further information when available. Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger was also at the scene helping with the investigation. Also assisting was the Bremen Fire Department and Bremen EMS.
The Marshall County Coroner’s Office is awaiting results of toxicology which is standard procedure in any fatal accident.
