07/16/12 The Marshall County Drainage Board will meet for a special meeting Monday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. prior to the Commissioner’s meeting at 9 a.m.  Both meetings will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

During the special drainage board meeting bids will be accepted for the Yellow River Bank Stabilization Project.  Other agenda items include signing a contract with Mike Strang o the Logan Ditch Reconstruction, the requests of Frontier Communications and Prime Tech Communications to cross regulated drains and the 2013 Drainage Board proposed budget.

The Commissioner’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 with a public hearing on a street vacation in Teegarden, the county attorney’s report, the public hearing on golf carts on county roadways, the highway report, auditor’s report, and expected approval of an ordinance amendment to the personnel policy as it pertains to the emergency protection measures.

Both meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
