12/27/12 Residents and staff of Miller’s Senior Living Community were in the Christmas spirit and the giving mood. They have decided to give back to the Marshall County community. In the past the group has held a Secret Santa gift exchange. However, this year instead of exchanging names they decided to have what they called Operation Santa. This year the money they would normally spend on a gift for a fellow resident or employee they decided to donate to a local charity. The staff and residents voted to collect money for the Marshall County Humane Society. On Friday, December 21st several residents took a trip to the humane society where they presented the gift. While there they took time to visit the cats and dogs.
