10/09/12 On Sunday, October 7th at 2:15 AM Officer Paul Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at South Michigan and Dickson Streets on 32 year old Carlos J. Santiago Cruz of Plymouth. During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Cruz was operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $1,505 cash bond. He was released that afternoon at 1:04 PM after posting his cash bond.
A short time later at 3:03 AM Officer Wally Derifield conducted a traffic stop after a complaint was received in the dispatch center of a possible intoxicated driver. Officer Derifield located the suspect’s vehicle at Michigan and Jefferson Streets. 38 year old David Lopez of Fort Wayne was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $1,505 cash bond. Lopez was released that afternoon at 2:05 PM after posting his cash bond.
